Annie Osburn

Hi! I'm a junior from Grosse Pointe, Michigan majoring in Political Science and minoring in Middle Eastern Language and Culture. I'm currently focusing on the role of religion in politics, especially in creating ethnic divides, and I'd like to live and study in Egypt after graduation. For most of this summer, I've been at home working in health care, but I drive across the country whenever I get the chance. On campus, I spend a lot of time with Kenpo Karate and the Roosevelt Institution, a national student-run think tank. Otherwise, you can usually find me hiking, playing my ukulele very poorly, watching old movies, or going to the beach. I hope you're having a great summer and I can't wait to meet you!

Tyler Bennett

I'm a Junior from Reno, Nevada majoring, in Economics. In years past, I've spent my winters in the Sierras skiing, and my summers at Lake Tahoe with my family. This summer I'm working for a Gifted Youth camp at Stanford - playing Ultimate Frisbee and running around in the perfect weather that you'll come to love. Have a great (and relaxing) rest of the summer, and be prepared to experience a Freshman year that will change your life. Go Card!

Paul Elizondo III

I am a junior from San Diego, CA majoring in Chemistry and minoring in psychology. As a freshman and sophomore, I sang in Kiss Me Kate and the Mendicants, became a Bridge Peer Counselor, led a health class for elementary school students, and volunteered at Arbor Free Clinic. Following these blissful undergraduate years of ski trips, beaches, and all-nighters, I hope to go to medical school and do research in psychiatry. Meanwhile, I'm so overly excited to welcome you to Stanford.

Tai-Jin Lee

Yo, I am a Junior from Eagan, Minnesota majoring in MCS (Mathematical and Computational Science) and Economics. I play violin and read books in my free time. But I also love to play board games and cards games. I am planning to goto law school after I graduate. I hope your summers are going well. See you in Fall!

Kate Shreve

Hi! My name is Kate Shreve and I'm a junior majoring in History. I was born in southern California but moved with my family to London when I was nine. My parents and brothers still live there, so it's a bit of a commute home! On campus I'm very involved in the social dance scene; I plan dances and lessons for students and I dance swing, waltz, and hustle as well as many other dances. I'm also active in the Catholic Community and the Kenpo Karate Association. In my spare time I enjoy relaxing with friends, watching movies, reading, playing flute, and exploring the Bay Area. Welcome to Stanford and I can't wait to meet you!
